The LA-based, Dallas born-and-raised artist, Liv.e, returns this summer with the release of 'GITHPREMIXEDITION', a rework of her critically-acclaimed, sophomore album 'Girl In The Half Pearl'.
Despite being based in L.A., Liv.e is always in touch with and flaunts her hometown Dallas roots. Tapping Ben Hixon, of Dallas-based record label Dolfin Records, to remix every track. Her second album, 'Girl In The Half Pearl, ' was released this past February and garnered praise from the likes of Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, NPR, Vulture, MTV, Spin, Dazed, Stereogum, Fader, CLASH, Billboard, and more. The record was lauded for its poignant lyrics and Liv.e's progressive take on pushing the boundaries of R&B with her production.
'GITHPREMIXEDITION' is a shift from the sonic landscape presented by 'Girl In The Half Pearl'. This time being an energized, feel-good of an album, ultimately symbolizing how one can bounce back after heartbreak.
