Jake also came up with the idea for the stop at the end of the third chorus on Die Alone, okay? That was his idea. I'm giving credit where it's due. Every musician pretty much chose what to play, so "their parts" can be considered "their parts", except in instances when I gave Conner an idea or an legitimate rhythm that I scatted while poorly pantomiming. Everyone on this record is an animal at their instrument and doesn't need too much direction unless they ask, for trust is a crucial part of collaboration.
That being said, all of the musicians where hired and paid accordingly so these are still MY songs. You hear me?! MINE!!!!!!!
