Still Mountain presents a sequence of atmospheric,immersive and ritualistic tracks evoking mythical time and space.
Focusing on the idea of the mountain as a place of esoteric ritual practices, a site of pilgrimage where sonic archaeologies and subterranean histories may be revealed. Within stillness the internal power of the mountain is active. Various flutes,drums,cymbals,gongs and percussion along with bowed Psaltrey,Shakuhachi Flute,Nay Flute, Synthesisers and Environmental Recordings are woven together with Electroacoustic treatments into eight hypnotic,meditative and elemental tracks.
