newArray is pleased to present you this compilation of tracks directly coming from the alpine guts of science city Grenoble.
Nineties Entities opens this compilation by offering an eerie but fast techno-trance track, combining the classic distorted acid bass line, with a more contemporary rythmic base and atmospheric contemplative sonic underlayers.
We are then shifting gear with the uncompromising and authoritative track by Silent Manifesto, 299 792 458, a fast solid monolithic techno trance banger pointing directly to the center of the Earth.
Maurer with the downtempo track Laurent cools things down a little. This is dark yet absurd, what does exactly Laurent want ?
We are then moving to less somber and more romantic territories with Binary Digit's 2SNT (Dying Tape Deck). This is a fast emotional electro track, with an acid bass line going all over the place and melancholic chords that tell you it will be OK in the end, if you can go fast.
We take another dip in the rave with Ned Flanger's jvaisluividerlasacochesurtoussesmorts, which could be loosely translated by "Imgonnaemptyhisgutsonallhisdead". This track is a nice hyphen between Nineties Entities and Silent Manifesto, combining the progressive acid-trance bass line of the former with the more authoritative rythmic base of the latter.
Goulets (Bottlenecks) by PRTS, is a weird electro number, quite reminiscent of Binary Digits' 2SNT, in the type of emotion it diffuses, although slower and more appeased.
The closing track by bell hooks (from the name of the feminist intellectual) is more disco-oriented neo-disco even, but provides a good springboard for further advancements in musical pleasures.
