1984 EP by Neekeetone

This tunes were waiting their time since the end of the February 2022. Originally there was another main tune and release was already signed, but had no name. At the same time the war started and everybody were shocked about it. A lot of people in my country were against this war, but dictatorship started to block all kinds of protest. Also I released the first part of Anti-War dubplates. And the tune called Warship, which was available on bandcamp for only one day, because it contained a speech sample saying “Russian warship go fuck yourself”
It was a little dangerous, but I was too emotional about this things and wanted to say something.
Then Paul heard the Warship and said that it should be the main tune of release. And it was absolutely right. So EP was called “1984” and it became a description of my feelings about things that happened. After that someone told the police about my Anti-war dubplates release and the posts in social media. I was warned about it and deleted some posts. Because it was danger not only for me, but for my family too. So I decided to move out of Russia, before «1984» will be out.
Release was planned about the September 2022, but there were some problems with pressing plant and it was delayed.
Moving out of Russia wasn’t easy and it became a reality with only your help.
