Melodia (NBCD046) by Alejandro Franov

“Melodia” is Franov’s first solo piano work which was originally released in 2005 (out of print). To celebrate the release of his newest album “Solo Piano”, we have decided to re-issue the alum with remastering and new artwork (which was illustrated by Franov himself) and packaging. This album is a recording of the Malsmjo (A Swedish piano which he calls “Magical sound”) inside of Swedish Church in Buenos Aires, and was taken within a day with the help of his engineer friend Santiago Vazquez. 17 beautiful short compositions with relaxing yet sacred atmosphere.

本作は国内でも大ヒットした「Khali」の前に発売された、2005 年のフラノフの初のピアノ・ソロアルバム。ブエノスアイレスに所在するスウェーデン教会の中で、友人でもあるサンティアーゴ・バスケスにより１日かけて録音された作品。その教会にあったMalsmjo というスウェーデンのグランド・ピアノの特別な響きにインスパイアされ、音数少なめで浮遊感たっぷりに演奏された全17 曲｠。神聖な雰囲気さえ漂う、まるで魔法のような音楽である。つい先日、発売された「bar buenos aires - Estrella」コンピにも同アルバムからの名曲「Himno」が収録されている。新装されたジャケットには、フラノフ自ら描いたイラストを全編に使用。
