Enlooped by Movi

Enlooped is made of memories. Each song is assembled from an audio patchwork of the artist's life––recordings captured on late night subway rides, takes from old collaborations, mangled samples of songs he made as a kid, voice memos of his favorite street musicians. These elements are woven into ambient soundscapes resting atop heavy, phrenetic grooves––reflecting erratic passing of time as Movi grew up in and apart from New York City.
