Quantum Light by Ken Moore
This album follows the same pattern as used by "Quantum Fire" and the previous "Expanding Beyond" albums by Ken Moore. Samples are collected, then processed with software. When they are combined in creative ways, a new track is completed.
The idea for this release was prompted by the previous album, "Expanding Beyond". Ken decided to record all samples from scratch and proceeded to modify each item [or instrument] in stereo format. Then the finished projects were then chosen for time and compatibility, and arranged in Pro Logic adding effects as necessary. The entire album was completed in one month. The result is a smoother journey for the mind and ears.
This process would be described as "abstract organic music". Ken has also extended this process to complement the latest Safe Creations albums.

Ken Moore has been using sound as music since 1975. This site began as a promotion for the Moore/Myers band, which released two albums in the 1980s. Now, Ken has expanded his talents to include percussion and abstract recordings from the Gong Room. With the addition of Short Story, ACS is creating even better adventurous sounds, more than ever before.
