Mike L is a songwriter from Northern Massachusetts who has set about releasing his first album, at age 73. Drawing inspiration from the American tradition of songwriting blended with his own modern poetic perspective "Defiant Man" offers 8 original songs that move from country gothic to surreal and intimate as well as a surprisingly original take of the standard "House of the Rising Sun"
