Open Window by Michelle Qureshi
Featuring acoustic guitars, my process in composing this was about layering voices that allowed me to explore timbres and moods, with moments of density and space. There is a light touch of distant music pads supporting the shape of the piece and adding to the emotional intrigue. The title Open Window suggests an opportunity for a deeper level of self reflection.
