Shumba from Kusanganisa by Mhofela, Musekiwa Chingodza, Bud Cohen

Shumba is a song that we play to praise the powerful Mhondoro, or Lion Spirit, for guidance. We normally play this song early in morning at ceremonies. I play kutsinhira and Bud plays kushaura. In this song I am singing along with Amai Shumba - Marilyn Kolodziejczyk - so beautiful.
