Expansion by Matthew Tozzi

RIP Tim Smith, the composer of my all time favorite albums. I have chosen this release to come out on the Leader of the Starry Skies AKA Timmy's birthday... and he thanks me for it in the end (or at least he might've).

Contained within this album is my own pride for my music. Everything in here is everything I have ever wanted to create within the world of music. I recorded this album last August in a week's time and I didn't have the balls to finish it. I have since gone through a second puberty and grown a second set of testicles, physically rendering me able to complete the record that is currently in front of you. It took me about nine months to finally finish it. Granted, I was working on stuff like Mushroom, Sonder, and Supplemental while it was collecting dust on my computer because I kinda procrastinated. An album this long is a big thing for me and mixing was annoying because there's a good amount of stuff going on. Anyway, this took a lot of time and if you think it sucks, it'll hurt my feelbads.

This album is basically an EXPANDED version of Past Pleasures and Future Failures. This one adds to my own conceptual continuity as well and Supplemental also helped this release fall into my discography by having a prelude. I forget what else I wanted to say. Maybe it was something like: This album... what a concept!

I play music. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad. Who's to judge? Certainly not yourself. Yet maybe you are... I'm not quite sure. Seems as if you'll just have to listen for yourself.
