You could go to the Lincoln for a matinee
For 25 cents you could stay all day
Yeah you could howl at the Wolfman or scream at Frankenstein
Yeah but you better get there early cause there was always a line

And it had red velvet drapes and a balcony
There was ushers every aisle to help you see
And you could laugh with the Stooges or you could ride with Roy
We liked the bad guys better cause we were the boys

And we'd find some girls yeah to sit behind
Pull their hair and swear it was the other guys
And the girls giggled and the boys would yell
And the ushers would come and shine their lights, and give us hell

And you could laugh with the Stooges or you could ride with Bond
We liked the bad guys better yeah especially Odd Job

Yeah well they closed it down in '74
And they moved it to the mall, built another 3 more
Now it costs a fortune just to see one show
And if you wait awhile you can get the video
