'Fortress' is the debut collaborative project from LVRA & Soda Plains. A 6-track collaborative sonic exploration that is less about genre and more about experimentation and creative freedom.

LVRA and Soda Plains bonded over their shared obsession with process - designing instruments that embrace randomness and uncertainty, ultimately allowing for the most organic form of expression. The project was conceived as a deeply immersive and cathartic experience, captured in a series of demos recorded over a few days in Berlin last summer.

Born in Edinburgh to Chinese parents, LVRA is the burgeoning project of 23-year-old alt-pop singer and producer Rachel Lu.

LVRA's music combines elements of pop and experimental electronic music to make heavy, dark hyperpop for people to dance to in sweaty basement clubs.
