Winter’s cold like ice cream
And it’s sweet like icing
June has got that soft rain
July’s heat cools me down again

If I snort a line of Ketamin
In the morning
After we have our coffee
Is it okay if I don’t act the way I did yestersday

If I teach the children poetry
If I volunteer for the community
If I try to be better
Can we get a along again

In this seasonal exchange
Only love remains
