Gemini by LSSNS
The Helsinki and Leipzig based Electro / Wave - Trio LSSNS announce their debut album "Transit" and release the first single "Gemini".
Over a stoic beat and foggy interwoven keyboards, the gloomy, yet driving synth pop - piece negotiates the complexity of mutual dependencies. LSSNS elaborate:
"Ideally most lyrics work on a personal and a political level at the same time. This is about conjoined twins and reflects on partnership as much as our need to rely on each other, not without looking at the downsides of that either. Not being the judge, merely the spectator…"
After the release of their "Tempest" EP, selected concerts in Europe and tasteful collaborations as with Adam Port (Keinemusik) or Magdalena (Diynamic), LSSNS have now recorded their dense and immersive debut album: "Transit" will be released digitally and on vinyl on 13.10.2023.
LSSNS are Patrick Sudarski and brothers Samu and Ville Kuukka. Best known for their acclaimed post-rock band The Gentleman Losers, working in projects like Speed Mountain, Montauk, Palestar, or through elegant movie soundtracks, the three have made a name for themselves among fans of classy, dark electro-pop music.
