With the sunrise I jump in my car,
and try to follow my thoughts.
I feel so strongly inside
that I must take to the road.

Wherever I go, whatever I see, there's nothing that keeps me there.
However I want, however I try, I just can stay no longer there.

I feel the scornful eyes
as they almost close me round.
For them I’m (just) a freaky guy
who aimlessly fools about.

Driving along the roads,
I meet many queer coves.
I’m glad they cross my path,
let me get out of my rut.
