Feeling nostalgic for a place you're not at yet? Well, idk if this song does that for you, but it might be nice to listen to anyhow.

I made this track, the "chipsynth" version, for a contest in a small Discord server back in 2022. It tied for first place! I later decided to make a "hi-fi" version (as opposed to lo-fi lol) in FL Studio, and they both sound fantastic. I was primarily inspired by Owl City's song Up All Night, but it forges its own path ahead, giving it its own unique identity, I think.

The track sort of encapsulates the hope to eventually come/find home, however that may be, and the cover art reinforces that.

The chipsynth version uses the Yamaha YM2414 (OPZ) FM synthesizer chip, used in the DX11 and TX81Z, and the Ricoh RF5C68, used in the Sega CD, FM Towns, and Sega System 18 arcade board.
