Steeped in equal parts golden age hip-hop sensibilities and lost 60s and 70s film scores, the newest work from Leroi Conroy weighs in heavy and gives an indication of what's to come from his forthcoming LP this summer. Starting with soft nylon string guitar and a gentle ominous flute melody, half way through the drums fall in and the listener is wisped away, running from unknown danger.
