Bathurst kicks off 2024 with Titeknots' remix of Lehto's track 'Kettu,' originally featured on Lehto's second album, 'Northbound,' released in December 2023.

With a constant output for over ten years, Titeknots has made a name for himself with countless on-point club productions. His first release, 'Mind Open/Wordy,' in 2013 was the starting point for Titeknots, born Jonathan James, where he has since shaken up the world of club music and become a favourite of many DJs.

While the original of Kettu delves somewhere in the midtempo range with a subtle club appeal, Titeknots gives Kettu a club-ready UK Garage makeover. With a focus on the Maasai vocals from the original, Titeknots adds a bouncy and catchy bassline and strips down everything to the essentials. The result is a forward-moving uptempo recreation with a fiercely contemporary Titeknots sound.

The remix already received support from Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant on BBC6 Music.
