I was born for adventure
To travel distant worlds

So many years ago
They launched me from my home
I landed in a crater
And still that's where I roam

It's hard to breathe, the ground is dry
There's two moons in the rusting sky

But now my gadgets are deployed
I'll check the weather, dig the soil

The rivers and the lakes,
Once here are now long gone

But thirsty as I am
I will persevere
