Taurai Zvenyu from Tinofamba by Kudana Marimba

2. Taurai Zvenyu is a recent/contemporary song composed by Paul Matavire and performed by him with the Jairos Jiri Band. “Taurai Zvenyu” means “Go ahead and talk!” US based Zimbabwean musician Paul Mataruse taught us this rockin’ arrangement.

Kudana has been entertaining crowds throughout the Pacific Northwest with Marimba music for over thirty-five years. Kudana means to love one another translated from the Shona language of Zimbabwe. Our performances are filled with energy, and we encourage audiences to participate with joyful movement and dance.
