10. Nhemamusasa (Temporary shelter) is a classic mbira song performed here at the slower tempo preferred by the elders. Musekiwa sings several traditional lines, including “Ndomutevera Mambo” (I will follow you, chief) and “Roora roora roora mukaranga uyo,” (Marry that woman).

Kudana has been entertaining crowds throughout the Pacific Northwest with Marimba music for over thirty-five years. Kudana means to love one another translated from the Shona language of Zimbabwe. Our performances are filled with energy, and we encourage audiences to participate with joyful movement and dance.
