5 by TMA-1

5 was the second cassette release by TMA-1 following 'Kills Mould, Fungi & Lichens - issued mid 1992. Unlike that first effort, which largely consisted of unfinished experiments, plunderphonics and doodles, 5 actually presented a more cohesive creative vision, albeit one that was infused with huge doses of self-depreciating pathos and black humour, juvenile clowning around and random bursts of vague musical structure. As a result it is considered to be the first proper TMA-1 album, and the blueprint for the label it spawned, kRkRkRk Cassettes.
