Extinction is the follow up release to the 2004 extended play Evolution by Krafty & Sneek.

It is the third extended play by the duo amongst a longline of collaborations over the years. Plans of a sequel to Evolution began as early as 2012 with an intended release date of 2014.

Eventually the project was shelved with no plans to promote or distribute it at all.
