京都美山での暮らし営みから紡がれたインスピレーションを
茅葺の古民家にて収録したKOKORO STARの至極の14曲。
今と未来に向けた地球と命への賛歌。　
世界の民族音楽の要素を大切に
太鼓、リズムと歌のみでPrimitiveに表現している。

This album is a solo album by KOKORO STAR.
All songs and tracks recorded in an old thatched-roof house, are inspired by the daily life of Miyama, Kyoto.
An anthem for the earth and life for now and the future.
Cherishing the elements of World Folk Music, this is a primitive expression using only drums, rhythm and singing.

KOKORO STAR

1985年神戸生まれ、19歳CaliforniaでAfrican Drumと出会い、
Master drummer of Ghana “Samuel Kwaku Daddy”とMaster drummer of Cuba “Calros Lazaro Aldama Perez”に師事する。
アフリカを起源とする音楽に魅了され、世界の民族音楽や音源として残されている音楽の歴史に深く興味を抱く。
2009年にアルバム”Life is a Joureney”を自主制作。
2010年より京都の里山美山町で暮らし始める。
2017年に京都を代表するバンドSOFTと出会い、京都での音楽活動の場を広げ始める。
2020年カリフォルニア在住のGnome Beatsと”Ai Kansha”を制作。
自身がフロントマンを務めるKokoro All Starsの活動開始と同時にMV制作、KOKORO STAR＆MAKOTOで２曲のMV制作を行う。
2023年より日本を代表するドラマー芳垣安洋氏率いるハンドサイン打楽器アンサブル”Grupo Ritmos Del Oeste”に参加、
2nd アルバム”Mountain Dove”をSOFTのレーベルSoftribeよりリリース。

KOKORO STAR

Born in Kobe in 1985, at the age of 19, he encountered African drums in California, studied under master drummer of Ghana "Samuel Kwaku Daddy" and master drummer of Cuba "Calros Lazaro Aldama Perez".
Fascinated by music of African origins, he is deeply interested in the history of world folk music.
In 2009, he independently produced the album "Life is a Journey".
In 2010, he started living in Miyama, a rural area of Kyoto.
In 2017, he met “SOFT”, one of the leading bands in Kyoto, and started to expand his musical activities in Kyoto.
In 2020, he was featured in a song called “Ai Kansha“ by California-based artist “Gnome Beats”.
He made music videos for “Kokoro All Stars”, of which he is the frontman, when the band started its activities,
He made 2 music videos as “Kokoro Star and Makoto”.
From 2023, he joined "Grupo Ritmos Del Oeste", a hand-signed percussion ensemble led by Yasuhiro Yoshigaki.
Released his 2nd album "Mountain Dove" from SOFT's Softribe label in Kyoto.
