Tsjinlûd by Tsjinlûd
Tsjinlûd started in September 2006 when Jan Kleefstra combined a presentation of his new collection of poetry with performances of the Kleefstra Bros, Elmar Kuiper, Sola (band with Anne Chris Bakker) and others. Several times similar performances took place elsewhere under the name of Tsjinlûd. It resulted in the project Klanklânskippen, a similar project with spontaneous collaborations between Tsjinlûd-members and other musicians, poets and visual artists. Throughout the years Tsjinlûd became more of an impro- and soundcollective, combining soundscapes with poetry, spoken word and film. The seven members on this record are the core of Tsjinlûd, that often gets extended with other musicians, poets and visual artists.
This debut is released as a book with cd, containing photography, drawings, paintings and poetry by all seven Tsjinlûd-members. Full colour hard cover, black and white contents.
