Getting to make this EP was a bit difficult, apart from the fact that I put it up under a new name.
By accident, many files were deleted from my computer, especially important audio files for the 'Fissure' project, an album I was working on even since "Teen" was being finished.
I wanted to discard everything and abandon the project. I began to have a depressive episode for the same reason. But the desire to do something that I really liked was still there. So I started again.
"Simpler" has a background in dubstep mainly, although I had never tried to make music in the same style. I had always tried to do random things with audio instead of handling synths, so it was a bit tricky to learn. Although this contains more sampling work than synths, but I tried to integrate them on the songs.
The name came to me as a second part of "Basics", since the essence of the EP is literally "keeping things simple", in the same way that, with Basics, I am starting from scratch, laying my foundations and defining my sound.
I must clarify that I still do not know if I will continue with the name Kisinuk. Niskida doesn't plan on being a counterpart or anything, I just thought that if I was transitioning into a new sound (as this was from Kuros to Kisinuk), maybe this would be another. I don't know if it's going to stay like that, but I'll let time define it.
