Mushroom Song by Killbot & Gor Gor Attack!!

"Mushroom Song" is about healing through psychedelics. There are lots of metal songs about weed, but not really a lot about mushrooms. I wanted to change that!!

After "Crossed Wires," I tuned my guitar back from A to C, which is commonly used in stoner metal. I even downloaded a new plug-in, meant to replicate the sound of an MXR phaser pedal. Once the riffs started coming together, the song practically wrote itself. Additionally, real drums were tracked mainly to be used as a room mic, with samples added on later, dynamically. Fingers were used on the bass for the first time since "Chains Unbound," fitting perfectly with this style of music.

So, you have the full 7+ minute version, which I prefer. This version of the song is fleshed out, psychedelic and designed to be listened to under the influence... Though this isn't required ;)
Then there's the much shorter version edited for the music video. It was hard to chop up my baby. But if you prefer a less psychedelic song with more brevity, then the short edit is for you!!
