"Fairgrounds" was originally the B-Side for a cassingle release with "Church Hill Downs" as the B-Side. They were the first songs written, recorded and released out of the Black River House.

Kenny Tudrick is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer from Detroit, Michigan. He is the owner and operator of The Black River House, home to his recording studio and record label, Black River House Recordings which saw its first release with The Detroit Cobras' "Stay Down" b/w Kenny Tudrick's "Lightning Byrd" which were written, recorded and produced by Kenny.
