released June 29, 2018
In the Fall of 2016 director Claudio D'amato began shooting what was to be his debut feature film, October Blue, working from his own screenplay. These recordings began as the blueprint for an original score, ideas developed from visits to the set, rough footage, and an unflinchingly dark script. When financial trouble befell the production, what was at first hoped to be a temporary hiatus became permanent, with cast and crew moving on to other projects. The initial seeds of the score were developed into the twelve pieces presented here, with D'amato's blessing, tracing the narrative of three teenagers who are pulled into a violent suburban underworld.
Touch Test is Jesse Kapp
with
Mark Margolies - clarinet, saxophone, and flute
Jane Zwerneman - French horn
Sarah Kapp - voice
Tayler Jones - cover photo and layout
Thanks: Aaris, Claudio, and everyone who worked on the film
