this is one of those shy albums that has crept up on me a bit and I'm a little worried how much I like it. I've held fire with this one for a while, I think I was actually waiting to pluck up the courage or sense to delete it. But I let an unusual thing happen - I played it very quietly in the background while I did much more interesting things - and you know what, it kept on sounding beautiful, in those occasional moments when I allowed myself to notice it. This is definitely an album for the background. That is no mean achievement - an album that knows its place, an album that actually has a place, I might even play it again one day.
