Okay after my ramblings yesterday about how I was going to strike out wildly and create a mad extreme musical masterpiece .... well this isn't it - though I like it a lot and it does have a bit more oomph. Of course I willingly painted myself into a corner when I started making these albums and chose to always keep to the same kind of formula - and the formula doesn't really allow for the crossover death-metal-opera-krautrock-harsh-noise-silent-spoken-word jazz classic that is brewing up inside me - and which will hopefully stay there forever.

But this does have better drumming than of late. And that has taught me a valuable lesson. So far, with my more rhythmic albums, I've devoted 90% of my effort on the keyboard and 10% to the rhythms/drums - and it's only just struck me that if anything I've got that the wrong way round.

The drums/beats/rhythms are really virtually all of what matters. So, I am older and wiser - and yes a tiny tiny bit bolder too. This track is a bit more upfront with the bangings. It really does seem that this is all going to go techno in the end, and as Woody Allen said about death - I'm not bothered by it, I just don't want to be there when it happens - and I don't think you do either.
