Vampyrotheusis infernalis from Littoral Zone by Julian Gerstin
The "infernal vampire squid" has a gaping mouth and tentacles bulging with muscle. If you encountered one of these in the deep ocean, your attempts to escape might sound like this. (Of course, Vampy is only a few inches long, so you'd probably survive.)
