"I first discovered Jonny3snareS with his 2020 "Attack, Decay" on Belgian label Caoutchou Records. I loved it instantly, frantic braindance fueled with alien funk sounds, killer synth riffs and a somewhat DIY punk attitude.
After that he kept blowing me away with always inspired tracks (special mention to "Parasol" on 030303) so I'm very happy to have a release from him on Concrete Collage"

Here we are in 2025 with a new offering from our lovely Cornish friend is back with a less punk but supremely well crafted collection of melodic bangers, with proper crazy drum programming. Perfect for dancing with the brain!

This is also a geeky ode to the Six-Trak synthesizer from the legendary Sequencial Circuits (RIP Dave Smith, this is for you). The level of sequencing and lushness here should make anyone happy. This synth is heavily used in Jonny3snareS's setup, it’s a very basic synth but the limitations make it sing and it has a unique sound. The oscillators almost sound out of tune and it’s very warm and smooth.

Jonathan Hipgrave, also known as jonny3snares, is an electronic music producer born in Kent and living in Cornwall. He has gained recognition in the electronic music scene for his unique blend of emotive braindance and acid music, using analogue synths and hardware to create his sound.
