October Sky by John Herdt & Wally Z
This is the last album from my heavier prog/fusion album phase, and is the most focused. There is a lot of guitar to the front on this, kind of like rock period Frank Zappa mixed with Bad Finger hooks. Tommy Stephenson from Energy with Tommy Bolin played great keys on “Busted.” I’m into shorter arrangements on my newer albums, but I'm really proud of this one.

I am also heavily influenced by movie music like early spaghetti westerns and James Bond themes. I don't write music to show off, but I burn when it's called for.
