ekō by Jerome Baur

ekō is this album and also a multi-arts project. The 16 tracks from the ekō album inspired 4 Swiss photographic artists: @dana_trli, @gaiabaur, @perrinebremke, @popyhmbrt who created all the images and videos inspired by my music. I invited them to create “new visual echoes” of these music I was planning to release as an album. The result was: a photographic edition hardcover BOOK and BOOKLET, graphically orchestrated by Dana Tirelli, several artistic videos by Gaia Baur, an audiovisual installation for vernissages and a photographic exhibition.

This project has become a wonderful human and creative adventure that the five of us have woven together in Switzerland. Between 2023 and 2024 we organized no less than 6 creative workshops in magnificent and inspiring Swiss locations, from the alpine mountains to the shores of Lake Geneva.
I also had the great pleasure of being accompanied on several tracks by fantastic musicians: Gaia Baur (singer), Nicolas Genest (trumpet), Guy Lafrance (accordion) and, with lyrics by the marvelous Giacomo Ravicchio actor and artistic director of the Meridiano Theater Copenhagen.
