Wireless Dialect by Amon Re the 8th Sign & Revelation the Dauntless MC
Interesting enough when I first came across Revelation it was on a diss track aimed at me and my crew. I threw a show in my hometown of Forest City, NC that gave artist a chance to perform. Rev was new on the rap scene in our area, and he got associated with some artist that didn't get an invite. I was shocked about the hate I received but impressed by the unknown rapper on the track with the hater.
After we talked things out, we formed a really close friendship and bond that has lasted over 10 years. Rev joined my crew Rep Ent (see Who Is Rep Album) and we made a lot of dope music together.
In 2012 the group broke up due to egos and a lack of leadership on my part. In 2014 we decided that we would do a collab project with just us two since our workflow was really good. Wireless Dialect is that project. This is back when I as playing engineer and rapper. I really hope you enjoy this collection of songs that we put a lot of heart into. Our goal was to make a timeless project that would still be relevant years later, I think that this has stood the test of time, but I will let you decide.

Amon Re The 8th Sign - born Jermaine Price - is a Forest City, North Carolina rapper who has spent the last several years perfecting his craft at his homebase in Chicago, Illinois. Averse to labels, he prefers to refer to himself as a “conscious” artist who uses his emotional acuity and skill for empathy to become a vessel for people’s struggles with self, society, or life in general.
