FLOOPS by AKASHIC RECORDS

FLOOPS is an album of ambient melodic & textural loop-oriented pieces played with the Flashback pedal and the Hoefner Lennon Classic Electric and my Ibanez prepared guitar. Effort is made to introduce and craft into coherence accidental clicks and broken circuit sounds, off-kilter rhythms & movements into and out of phase of two guitars as well as employing a repositioning of microphones on the spur of the movement to capture different angles and depths of the evolving sounds.The final track is a live improvisation performed at the venue called Tłusta Langusta in Poznan and features other concrete music elements and found object sounds which develop compositional reference from the layered ambient tonal floor that shifts subtly over the course of the 18 minutes.
