JASS is proud to present 0 Dreams, the debut of Michael & Clark, a collaboration between long-time JASS alumni Michael J Thomas III (MJTIII, Grass is Green, countless others) & Clark Burkhardt (aka Atwell, of Gonja & Mallow). A piece of borrowed gear & a renewed sense of collaboration circumstantially brought the two together for the first time, shaking out the bones & recording in Boston, Providence, and New York before emerging with this unforgivingly colorful & humbly self-indulgent project. With footwork, jungle, & techno inspired rhythms meeting a fine-tuned spectrum of sample & synth work showcased by both the relentless acid of ‘Ze Brekka’ & the stop-and-go beatless fugue of ‘OK Buddy’, 0 Dreams marks a return to form for the label and the collaborators.
