Amethyst Dream by Ursidae
You slowly wake, taking a deep yawn as crisp, clean air fills your lungs. Opening your eyes, you find yourself in an unfamiliar forest surrounded by crystalline trees, their flowers forming satisfying, geometric patterns. The flora are filled with berries and fruit but not like any you've seen before. A calming hum reaches your ears as the forest seems to vibrate and breathe with you. Life fills these woods.
The cold earth feels good beneath you and a grounding satisfaction washes over your body as you move through the trees. Walking further, you begin to hear the faint sounds of musical trilling and humming. Coming into a clearing, you find many peculiar critters holding a gathering of some kind. They are not threatened by your presence but instead accept and greet you lovingly as an old friend.
Curious looking instruments, adorned with crystals from the trees, lay arranged about the forest floor. The creatures take up these instruments but seem to be waiting for something. An open spot for you appears and you walk over to pick up one of the instruments. As you touch it, memories come flooding back and the group begins to play...
