Bateekh from INFA002 by Muskila
The title track ‘Bateekh’ is a heavily percussive roller, which teams up a combination of traditional darbuka drums and driving breakbeats, the former an ode to Muskila’s roots. His heritage is further echoed in the titling of the release, which translates to “watermelon”, a symbol of the resistance of the Palestinian people.
