There is always one first breath, but I'll never meet my last
From the edge of the world to the heart of our home
Fertility bathes my vision

Impurity lies away far from this domain

Forgotten hills the first I saw when I was born
The rivers taught me rules so I'd live forevermore

The soil brought everything I needed all along
It had just dawned on me I would become unbreakable

But your end was told before our beards did start to grow

Addressed with disdain, we learnt how to prevail
