GLACIAL by Richard Price

This is a commission for a Contemporary Ballet piece called ‘GLACIAL’

I was asked to create a piece for a solo dancer who wanted to document her personal feelings about the fact that the ice caps are melting.

It felt very odd sitting in my studio here in Baja Arizona composing the piece when the two landscapes are so very different.

‘GLACIAL’ is the finished product and I have to say that it was very moving to see the finished production
