Usually the Full Moon is what first comes to mind when talking about the Moon. It is that part of the Moon's cycle when it is in opposition to the Sun and shows its full face without a shadow from the Earth.
The lunar cycle and the solar cycle are our two great celestial timers. However, they do not quite match: the lunar year is shorter than the solar year by 11 days so sometimes there are 13 full moons in a year although we only have 12 months.
During Full Moon nights the irrational, "lunatic" side of life takes over and collides with the rational, solar energy. Many people cannot sleep and show a lack of concentration, or they feel dazed and confused. Beware of people who only believe in the rational mind: during the Full Moon they will fall victim to the dark side of the Moon and be confronted with their psychological shadow aspects.
