Gynk proudly presents the official 2024 remaster of his fifth record, "Euphoricosis". Includes final full remasters of all of the tracks (with FIXED MASTER of "Human Kind"), and 2x upscaled album artwork.

The fifth self-released album by Gynk.
In a galaxy as far as the eyes can see, there is is an extraterrestrial species known as the Voltex; an authoritarian and oppressively run galactic force that are distant from the true ways of life or possessing knowledge about the universe (as well as planets like Earth), as humans and other similar beings are viewed as inferior to these lifeforms in terms of their own intellect and technological advancement through their own narcissistic and nihilistic lenses.
Of this species, there is but one who secretly opposes, named Gynk, whom feels isolated from his own society and is an outcast in the eyes of the Voltex, due to his differing beliefs towards their unwillingness to learn of lifeforms such as these and their particular corners of existence. This is made far worse by the fact that he is an outcast in secret; meaning the Voltex truly do not know his true intentions and beliefs to be any different from their own, in all actuality. Yet, as he learns of the Grand Masters' plans of taking over Earth and enslaving the human race (one amongst many other species on other planets) to work them as servants in growing Voltex populations; this one alien, Gynk, will escape this tyranical regime, break out of the stigma, and explore all of the deeper reaches of the universe and human life (as well as other life, and some of the cultures they have established throughout the centuries in terms of their music, art, and history) to warn them of the danger that is to come and how to find themselves in the midst of all the chaos that they currently find themselves in, as well as trying to find himself in the process.
Although he was not able to gather all of the information that is possibly available on Earth or elsewhere, he was able to gather much greater insight and learn a lot from them as well as how that can be related to himself in a much deeper way. Hence, he decides to take his observations of the planet and it's inhabitants and realize that he is more like them than he even is to his own kind. Gynk further experiences their way of life through extensive research, surveillance, and gaining contact; as well as through the knowledge he was able to obtain the most he could in the process, as well as a certain person whom he began to fall for in the midst of it. This is the result of all of that work, and the passion that was found on his journey along the way.
Blending influences from that of vaporwave, retrowave, house, drone, future funk, trap, hip hop, synth pop, soul, new wave, and experimental electronic music; Euphoricosis may or may not be for you. You truly may not know what to expect with this record if you're unsure of how these sounds might coincide with one another. Whether that defiance of expectation is good or bad, either way, it is a very different and very strange approach (and slight critique) to the concept of modern and popular music; while delving into themes of alienation, isolation, and rebellion against widely accepted thought and belief. You may not understand the appeal if you see the strange and different in a negative light, but just be sure to keep an open mind before delving into this and coming to conclusions so quickly... And if it suits you, then we hope you enjoy the album as much as Gynk enjoyed the outlet in making it.
