Brief Tales by miguel otero
Brief Tales recount about those emotions that we treasure in our memory of a place that no longer goes along with us. Each of the tales take us to a oneiric reality, in which Miguel revives all those inspiring places, full of harmony and quietness, which is contrasting to the nature of his present.
The writing process was trying to make everything as simple as possible and prioritizing the first ideas that come along.
It has been recorded just with an Elektron Digitone, a classical guitar, a looper and a delay pedal through an old Tascam cassette tape recorder

Miguel Otero is a spanish multi-instrumentalist composer, sound designer and music producer based in Cambridge, UK.
Otero's music is characterized by distorted synthesizers, very slow armonies and processing sound fields resulting complex textures with hypnotics melodies lost by the sound space. His music may be classified as a ambient, minimalist or post-classical.
