Early drafts of this (still draft) track, while developing the main lead. I was reminded a lot about the game Oneshot and when I first played it while attendeing middle school in New Mexico. my family; I have a lot of history in New Mexico, a lot live in Los Alamos, a lot burried in Los Alamos. I can't help but think of my grandfather whenever I think about NM. I miss him so damn much.
Oneshot really hit me at an emotional time and I related heavily to it. I had moved to New Mexico away from my mom, and it was to a much worse environment. I missed her and all I wanted was to just go back home and see her.
Often I would take walks in the evening on Fridays. Our house was in an area that wasn't yet developed in Rio Rancho. Far from anything really. I'd just go and listen to music, walking around in plain desert. I git really spooked one time as a pack of coyotes came across me, surrounded me -- but left me alone. Nobody believes me when I tell them the story. Walking with coyotes...
