Nour - Fauda by Get Physical Music

Native Palestinian Nour offers up a bold new release on Get Physical that comes with a remix from none other than dance legend and label co-founder DJ T.

Nour is known for exploring a wide range of cultures, sounds and scenes in her music, especially those based around her own heritage. It has made her a standout talent who has been resident DJ at Tulum's Papaya Playa Project, as well as at Mykonos beach club Scorpios and a regular at KaterBlau in Berlin.
As a producer she has released on Talavera Records and Sol Selectas and here continues to weave elements of her roots with edgier beats.

Her fantastic 'Fauda' is a deep and exotic track with a gorgeous stringed instrument laying down the hypnotic lead while a rugged bassline and slow churning drums pump out a heavy groove below. The tension between the two keeps you enthralled as the track unfolds, with a dramatic breakdown and then expressive drop all helping to make this a real musical journey.

Remixer DJ T. needs little introduction. He has been shaping dance music in many ways for many years, from opening clubs to founding Groove Mag, serving up always evolving albums and very personal compilations to red hot dancefloor 12"s. His interpretation of ‘Fauda’ is a super deep and spacious one that encourages your mind to wander amongst the arching pads and twinkling keys. Gentle shakers pepper the rooted groove, the Oriental string sounds bring plenty of tropical touches and the whole thing is perfect for outdoor parties or early evening dancefloors.
