Swarm from Tymbal by XOM
A section of Noel Mueller’s cicada field recording (#2) was used as the underlying track. A one second clip from another section of the same cicada recording was imported into a sampler in Logic. Then, I played my midi keyboard through the Logic sampler. Both sampler tracks were improvised while listening to the field recording.
